Midland Training Facility

That “field of dreams” is now a reality! But with that comes the necessity to finish what we’ve started and take it to the next level.

First, the GREAT news… We have constructed 6 training labs and most recently, a brand new 12-station welding lab. This is important because we currently have high school students from across the region enrolled in our pre-apprenticeship program, with enrollment increasing each year. These students are the next generation of skilled workers who will help fill the growing gap in the industry.

Our Midland location now trains 11 different trades with over 400 enrolled students.

This is where YOUR SUPPORT is needed! Additional classrooms and equipment upgrades are necessary to accommodate this rapid growth.

Lansing Training Facility

What could be more exciting than the fulfillment of a dream?

“If not now, then when? If not us, then who?”

Over the years we’ve watched technology make the record player obsolete, replaced by the eight-track tape player and then the cassette tape replaced by the CD player; now our music is in the clouds. The land line phone has been replaced by smart phones with more access and information than most computers. Over that time the Lansing training site has not evolved and we are being left behind; we run the risk of becoming obsolete. This, at a time when school districts and contractors see a widening gap of young people not being trained in the building trades. Who will train our own, if not us?

This is OUR TIME, this is OUR COMMUNITY, and that’s where you come in!

Your participation in the Partners In Education program will provide the resources needed to CONTINUE building the workforce of tomorrow throughout the state of Michigan.

So please join us on our journey... building for tomorrow.

Our Partners In Education

Skilled Trades training has benefited me by opening up opportunities at different companies that wouldn’t even take a second look if I hadn’t had a formal, post-secondary education. It gives me a leg up on anyone who just has a high school diploma.
